Welcome​ ​To​ ​The​ ​Neighborhood

Hello​ ​and​ ​happy​ ​summer​ ​Palmer​ ​Lake​ ​residents!​ ​We​ ​hope​ ​you​ ​all​ ​are​ ​staying​ ​cool​ ​and enjoying​ ​the​ ​beautiful​ ​weather.
Our​ ​neighborhood​ ​seems​ ​to​ ​be​ ​growing​ ​and​ ​improving​ ​by​ ​leaps​ ​and​ ​bounds​ ​just​ ​in the​ ​last​ ​year!​ ​We​ ​would​ ​like​ ​to​ ​welcome​ ​all​ ​our​ ​new​ ​residents!​ ​We​ ​hope​ ​you​ ​are settling​ ​in​ ​comfortably​ ​and​ ​have​ ​been​ ​able​ ​to​ ​meet​ ​your​ ​new​ ​neighbors!​ ​We encourage​ ​established​ ​residents​ ​to​ ​introduce​ ​yourselves​ ​and​ ​make​ ​our​ ​new residents​ ​feel​ ​welcome!​ ​If​ ​you​ ​have​ ​any​ ​questions,​ ​or​ ​are​ ​looking​ ​to​ ​make​ ​some​ ​new friends​ ​here​ ​are​ ​some​ ​helpful​ ​links​ ​to​ ​our​ ​PLBC​ ​webpage​ ​and​ ​our​ ​FB​ ​page.

The​ ​new​ ​PLBC​ ​Board​ ​is:

Ballot​ ​Results

Results​ ​from​ ​the​ ​Ballots​ ​sent​ ​out​ ​with​ ​the​ ​annual​ ​HOA​ ​Dues​ ​to​ ​purchase​ ​1912​ ​190TH AVE​ ​KP​ ​S​ ​(where​ ​the​ ​Palmer​ ​Lake​ ​sign​ ​is​ ​located.)​ ​are: 89=YES​ ​and​ ​56-NO There​ ​were​ ​more​ ​than​ ​200​ ​dues​ ​accounts​ ​paid.​ ​​ ​There​ ​were​ ​lots​ ​of​ ​people​ ​that didn’t​ ​return​ ​the​ ​ballots.​ ​The​ ​board​ ​has​ ​started​ ​exploring​ ​the​ ​possibilities​ ​through contacts​ ​with​ ​known​ ​mortgage​ ​company​ ​and​ ​others.​ ​Stay​ ​tuned​ ​for​ ​updates.

4th​ ​Annual​ ​Neighborhood​ ​Garage​ ​Sale

4th​ ​Annual​ ​Neighborhood​ ​Garage​ ​Sale The​ ​4th​ ​Annual​ ​PLBC​ ​Garage​ ​Sales​ ​were​ ​held​ ​on​ ​July​ ​14,​ ​15​ ​and​ ​16.​ ​An​ ​estimated​ ​20 families​ ​participated.​ ​Friday​ ​was​ ​the​ ​busiest​ ​day​ ​for​ ​sellers,​ ​and​ ​Saturday​ ​was​ ​fairly busy​ ​as​ ​well.​ ​Sunday​ ​was​ ​quiet.​ ​Next​ ​year​ ​we​ ​may​ ​limit​ ​it​ ​to​ ​just​ ​Friday​ ​and Saturday.​ ​It​ ​was​ ​a​ ​great​ ​opportunity​ ​for​ ​neighbors​ ​to​ ​visit​ ​with​ ​each​ ​other​ ​and catch​ ​up,​ ​and​ ​get​ ​some​ ​treasures​ ​in​ ​the​ ​process.​ ​Had​ ​a​ ​lot​ ​of​ ​people​ ​from​ ​outside​ ​of Palmer​ ​Lake​ ​show​ ​up​ ​as​ ​well.​ ​Looking​ ​forward​ ​to​ ​doing​ ​it​ ​again​ ​next​ ​year!

 

National​ ​Night​ ​Out

National Night Out
National​ ​Night​ ​Out​ ​is​ ​an​ ​annual​ ​community-building​ ​campaign​ ​that​ ​promotes police-community​ ​partnerships​ ​and​ ​neighborhood​ ​camaraderie​ ​to​ ​make​ ​our neighborhoods​ ​safer,​ ​more​ ​caring​ ​places​ ​to​ ​live.​ ​National​ ​Night​ ​Out​ ​enhances​ ​the relationship​ ​between​ ​neighbors​ ​and​ ​law​ ​enforcement​ ​while​ ​bringing​ ​back​ ​a​ ​true sense​ ​of​ ​community.​ ​Furthermore,​ ​it​ ​provides​ ​a​ ​great​ ​opportunity​ ​to​ ​bring​ ​police and​ ​neighbors​ ​together​ ​under​ ​positive​ ​circumstances.local​ ​sheriff Officer​ ​Shanks
This​ ​year’s​ ​National​ ​Night​ ​Out​ ​was a​ ​great​ ​success!​ ​Lots​ ​of​ ​neighbors showed​ ​up.​ ​There​ ​was​ ​a​ ​raffle​ ​for​ ​3 nice​ ​emergency​ ​bags,​ ​all​ ​donated by​ ​Peninsula​ ​Light.Also​ ​lots​ ​of emergency​ ​preparedness​ ​reading material,​ ​and​ ​of​ ​course​ ​fun goodies​ ​to​ ​take​ ​home!​ ​Everyone enjoyed​ ​a​ ​hot​ ​dog,​ ​cake,​ ​and​ ​each other’s​ ​company!​ ​We​ ​even​ ​had​ ​a brief​ ​visit​ ​from​ ​our​ ​local​ ​sheriff Officer​ ​Shanks!​ ​A​ ​big​ ​thank​ ​you​ ​to everyone​ ​that​ ​helped​ ​make​ ​Palmer Lakes​ ​2017​ ​National​ ​Night​ ​Out successful!
