Our Lake is what makes Palmer Lake Beach Club so unique and special. We have set forth an Initiative to Improve Lake Health starting in 2025. Currently , we are addressing the American Pond Weed in our Lake.
A committee has been formed, and will be giving updates at our Monthly Board Meetings.
The first step is Weed Removal. To lower the cost of Lake Treatment, instead of paying for the Lake Treatment by hiring an outside source, which was previously done and increasingly more costly, we are planning to treat the lake with the help of dedicated volunteers. Our committee member, who is a resident , will oversee the process, and will be certified in the weed control. The plan is for the certification to take place in March. We will stock the lake the 1st week in April and apply the herbicide to control pond weed the end of April.
